Hello everyone... Greetings from Italy!

Spa was absolutely amazing this year... we got lucky once again with the weather... lots of great cars around... no crash... perfect day!

Last year i was there with the 350Z... (monotube exhaust), this year i joined with my white taxi (see below).

I'd love to see the video shot by the Z4 Coupe' (Fabrice).. we did a few cool laps together.

Also looking for pics of my car... anyone???

Of course next year i will be there!

By the way... which was the best lap time of an RX8 at SPA for the day?

I saw a red one that was pretty quick.... maybe this one below?

The red one on your photo is Oujter the dutch RX-8 !

No idea who was the fastest ... I was not timing nor taking any films ... just enjoying the day !

Hi Carlo!

Very happy to see you on this forum, did you see the video where you overtook me?

That was really nice, and I'd like we go together to another trackday!

What I'd like to do for next year :
Breyton GTS-R 18in with Toyo R888 GG
Improved braking system cooling
Hawks HT10 brake pads for front
Recaro Sportster CS leather buckets
Harnesses
Supersprint headers and kat
Engine mapping (target is 300bhp)
and maybe bilsteins PSS10...

WOW that's gonna be expensive!
But with that, the M3 CSL won't be far...

In 2006 a friend of ours crashed at the ring with his motorbike.. so we did take pics of this sign and we went down to Adenau and made a few custom t-shirts & made him a special gift to cheer-up !!!

Here is it!

We had so much fun with these t-shirts... we used to stay right at the entrance at the ring and show it to the German bikers that were entering the track...

Ahahah.. should have seen their faces !!

reading the post seems the best lap time is from TSAR 3'05'' (Blue Rx8 192cv with some modifications).
Outjer said me that the his best lap is 3'14''64.

C'était pas Max mais moi qui était au volant... je me familiarisais avec la conduite à droite et aussi je ne voulais pas risquer quoique ce soit avec la voiture d'un pot! Je suivais cette E30 dans le double gauche et quand j'ai vu sa trajectoire j'ai soulagé car j'ai vite compris ce qui allait se passer... c'était assez intéressant à voir en spectateur!
Bref après ça j'ai décidé de rentrer aux stands car je venais d'apprendre le crash du camion qui transportait ma Fun... je me suis dit "un crash sur la journée ça suffit!"

N'empêche c'est pas évident de trouver ses repères dans une conduite à droite, surtout le maniement de la boîte et la façon de se caler dans le siège... j'étais perdu en appuis et incapable de faire un temps. Donc j'ai sagement décidé de rentrer.

Mais merci à Max pour l'essai, je sais les upgrade qui attendent ma FD

A 7'12" on voit une belle flamme qui sort de l'échappement de la RX7

Tein springs, XS power exhaust manifold, local manufactured catless midpipe with a interesting kinda elbow for the O² bung, Hymee 1 catback, exedy Stage 1 clutch + flywheel/counterweight, and slick tires with stock rims i think, but not sure.

And a black Phoenix on each side of the car, but i'm not sure if it helps tbh.

And a big big heart too, with big balls, and yes, this helps.

yep Baphi!

32 ième sur 51 au général et 11 ième sur 14 dans sa catégorie (GT2)
Meilleur temps au tour lors des essai : 2:56.485
Bon, les marches du podium sont super loin...
Il faut dire aussi que ce championnat est fréquenté par des "vrais" pilotes, avec aussi des protos de toutes façons loin devant , en tout cas ils prennent leurs pieds (mon père et son copilote) et roulent sur des circuits internationaux avec une auto fabuleuse.

J'aurais plus d'info dans la semaine, mais apparemment la RSR a bien fonctionner, pour rappel elle avait eu des soucis à Barcelone lors de la première manche du CER (Classic Endurance Racing).
Prochaine course à Algarve (Portugal) fin Juillet
