Hello race fans.
On the marc duez site the first date for 2007 is set on 12-5-07.
I wonder if the track will be ready by then.
I was on 7-1-07 at the track.
The outline of the new part of the track was clearly visible.
Starting just before the busstop chicane , throu 200 meters after the new La Source hearpin.
The rest of the track was untouched.
A few (...) years ago the track was shortened from 14 km to 7 km.
This was done in 1978-1979.
After only 443 days (15 months) the track was changed.
Unfortunaly the last parts of the surface of the track were done only 4 weeks before the Moto GP race of 1979.
On 1-7-1979 I was with a lot of motorbike friends in Spa for the Moto GP race.
All the top riders complained about the very slippery surface and decided not to race!!
In the weeks before the race the temperature was quite low and in order to make a smooth , good surface the builders added oil in the surface!!
Normaly this oil wears out and evaporates after a few months.
Now the spectators got to see only a few very unknow riders!
Hopefully this time the Belgiums get it right.

apparement tu a trouver un hotel a Francorchamps ... tu en recherche toujours un pour le Ring ??

Pour démarrer très tôt au Ring ... vu que le dimanche c'est plutot charger ...

En fait, le fréro s'en ait chargé. N'ayant pas d'info sur les hotels près du Ring, nous resterons sur Francorchamps.
Si t'as de meilleurs propos ne te gênes surtout pas...
