Sorry for the late respons (Holliday), but I did have problems with my brakes and tyres.
On the 2 th run my second hand michelin rear slicks lost air (and were wrecked) and I had to drive the rest the day with Marangoni slicks in front and Vredestein road tyres on the back.
But the biggist problems were the brakes.
The ABS and ESP lights came on and did not go away.
Not only that I had no ABS and ESP , but also under hard braking one rear wheel locked and from than on the rest did seem to lose any braking power.
This happened wenn I was trying to stay ahead for a fun car and later just befor Rugissannte came behind me.
So every time I was trying to brake as late as possible.
The rest of the day I did brake more smoothly.
That was untill it started to rain. From than I did not drive anymore.
The next day I checked everything , but I could not find anything.
So I phoned the garage and the guy asked if my braking lights went on wenn the braking pedal was applied.
It did not!!. There was an fuse blown.
That was caused by driving with a trailer the day before..
Stupied that there was no light for a faulty fuse but instead ,the whole braking system stopped working properly..
Further my friend Roger with an E-type jag (250 hp) drove for the first time on the track.
He was stopped by an faulty bobine (no sparkes)
Much later (19.00 u) the belgium ANWB arrived and they changed in a town nearby, the bobine.
This came of an other jaguar.
For free!!
Very nice people overthere (belgium)
But he will drive no more on the track.
The brakes and tyres were absolutly shit on the track.
The clients that were supposed to come ,did not come.
Only 2 persons came and they were driven by rugissante , hakke and a porsche driver.
They were very impressed and they wanted to come back with a group clients off there own later this year (or next year).
