Hi,
Because the organisation had 300 cars and 30 bikes subscribed, they ask the bikers to come with a car.
So no bikes and 2 groups with cars.
I was in group 2 (just like Greg)
1e session in the wet (4 laps) was very slippery (with the semi slicks(toyo's)).
Within 2 km (Hatzenbach) 2 cars were in the gras...
But Andreas had normal tyre's and had also very little grip.
He pointed out the dots on the circuit.
These dots marked the racing line.
Very helpfull at this extremly difficult circuit.
2e session was dry.
I had Andreas in my car, and he was amazed about the grip the toyo's offered.
His streettyres overheat in 2 laps and wear extremely.
My Toyo's maintain their grip.
But in the 3e lap I made a mistake at Wehrseifen (lift/right) and for 2 seconds I thought I lost it.
I was on full throttle to much left before turning in the left/right.
Just pushing to hard to soon. Stupid.
Fasted part is the downhill Fuchsrohre.
Full throttle, shifting in 5 , just before the lowest part, turning left.
After this corner but before braking I dared to look at the speed:
213 km/h...
Then braking hard, shifting back to 4e and then turning in without a clear view of the left hander, over the curves...
Pfff.
Good that I had the new seat.
Now I feel much more. (also the punisment the car gets)
There were 2 fast twingo with Evo plates?!?
Friends from Greg.
There were faster.
I could not hang on.
Pitty, because the knew the Ring very good.
In total I drove 4 laps wet and 15 laps dry.
I tried start in front (thats wy I am the camara pics), and so I managed to drive 5 laps each session.
But in the 2e session I ran (nearly) out of gas.
After Fuchsrohre the car hesated and I drove slower back to the end.
So after that I filled up each session.
Next year I will drive all 3 DSK-NS-trackdays
